I was born in the beautiful Black Forest area of Germany, where three countries - Germany, Switzerland, and France - meet.
Surrounded by such beautiful nature, photography has always played an important part of my life. I also spent a lot of time in the Mediterranean, and came to love the ocean. No wonder that many of my favorite photos are of the ocean, in all its beauty and mightiness and power. My love for the ocean was intensified when I moved from Germany to Mexico and then to San Diego, where I lived for 20 years. I then moved to Bandon-by-the-Sea in Oregon for seven month before moving to Arizona, where I currently reside.
I am drawn to the beauty of creation and the colorful aspect of nature. Post-processing my raw images and turning them into pieces of art gives me tremendous joy, and I hope people will find them touching and meaningful.
