For the past 48 years, I have been a children's book editor and author. I have had the extremely good fortune of working closely with many incredible illustrators, artists, and designers throughout my career. My love of art and of storytelling through art inspired me to put paintbrush to paper and begin creating my own artwork based on my many conversations about art in the publishing community. I am a lover of color, shape, and line and have always been intrigued by abstract and mixed media artwork so I decided to start my artistic journey painting these kinds of pieces. I am extremely grateful, after dreaming about doing so for many years, that I have finally picked up that paintbrush and put it to work. I am looking forward to seeing where this path leads me.
