Contemporary abstract artist Gary Terry was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon.   As a native Oregonian, Gary gained an intimate appreciation of the natural world.   Gary was artistically inclined and enjoyed drawing and painting at an early age.   Many of the great artists throughout history have influenced Gary's work.   Gary is especially fond of the American Expressionists of the 1950s: Jackson Pollack, Lee Krasner, Mark Rothko, and Joan Mitchell.Through his work, Gary shares his love of nature with the viewer, using the textures and palette of Oregon and the Great Northwest, which...more
