Greetings, my friends call me Jim, and I have been producing artwork in some medium since 1973 when the Art Society of Smithfield, NC sponsored my first public showing.   I graduated from Atlantic Christian College with a BS in Commercial Design.   I retired from a 37 year long career as a commercial designer in North Carolina's Community Colleges.   After I retired I taught a class in Acrylics at Coastal Carolina Community College for close to nine years.   Today I paint locally with a plein air group called OOPS (Onslow Outdoor Painters Society), and stay active participating in...more
