I am a young Caribbean woman who lives on a magical island: Haiti, the mountainous land of the Antilles.   I am a self-taught artist who discovered her talent very young.   I remember that the principal of my elementary school would choose me to decorate the aisle of her office with my vibrant drawings on cardboard for our annual carnival festivities.   In high school, I would create and sell greeting cards to my classmates for Valentine's Day or Christmas, and I would spend my spare time sketching portraits of my favorite actors. .......'Here, do a magic trick on my piece of paper'...more
