Stephen Stanley graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1973 with a BFA in graphic design.   He had a successful award winning career in publications design in San Francisco.   After retiring from his design business he began printmaking, illustrating, and writing.   Stephen was the first to win both the Writers of the Future and Illustrators of the Future contests.   He currently lives outside of Eugene Oregon on five acres of wild forest.
