Growing up in Edmonds, Washington, I became interested in art at an early age.   I graduated from Central Washington State University with a degree in Art Education.   Living on Puget Sound and cruising and racing sailboats fostered a deep appreciation of boats from the artist's viewpoint.   My paintings of the classic boats of the Wooden Boat Marina on Lake Union and in Port Townsend are in collections by boat enthusiasts in the region.   I have exhibited in various one-man and group shows, created several commission works and am in numerous private collections.   I...more
