I grew up in a small farming community in Texas. I helped work on my parent's farm in High School as a first job. While driving tractors and combines I had a lot of time to think about my future. My father, Don Hutchison who recently introduced me to Fine Art America, encouraged me to pursue art studies at the Colorado Institute of Art. I graduated college in 1996 with an Associates in an Applied Science degree of Visual Communications. My first career I worked for was the Amarillo Globe-News, advertising department, as a graphic artist in Amarillo, Texas for six years and during the September 11th tragedy. My mother also influenced me in the art of dance. Since childhood I have taken dance classes and I still dance today. My family, husband and children support all my creative journey's. I am inspired to combine art, dance and videography in sometimes sexy, mysterious ways!
