I have been drawing/painting most of my life and the only time I had taken off was during my university studies. One of the ironies about my art career is that I am color-blind. Although I can see reds and greens, they give me enough problems that I am constantly having to tone down my paintings in order to get a more realistic look.
I had previously painted surrealistic watercolors for almost 15 years so moving from this medium to acrylics on canvas was not a great leap for me. My two main areas of specialization are landscapes and surrealism. One of my favorite sayings is; three out of ten of my paintings have something that I call 'It'. I hope and believe that I have presented on this site, the paintings that represent the 3. Another saying I espouse is; 'If I am painting, its a good day.'
I live and work out of my home in a northern suburb of Toronto, Canada and I have been painting full time since 2013.
My works have won numerous awards over the years and I have sold my paintings to private collectors throughout North America.
