A third generation native of Santa Fe New Mexico, I've lived my life around art. I am a retired police officer from the Albuquerque Police Department in New Mexico. Since retiring I have done several different things such as wood working construction, developing and business. I now own and operate 'New Mexico Jeep Tours' which I started in 2008. My love for the outdoors began my love for photography. Influenced by Santa Fe art surroundings I love to create photos that capture the essence of the feel and emotion when I was there. And due to my opportunity to see things in different light, seasons and conditions I can photograph the subject when the conditions are right. First and foremost I really don't care if I make any money on my art work. A true artist does his work for the sheer joy of creation. My eye is continually changing how I see things and what I like, which I think defines the artist's journey. Enjoy.
