My art is about simplicity.   I'm a minimalist at heart, a seeker of clarity.   I have always felt a need to eliminate minutiae and clutter.   Through my art I seek to portray a world of order amidst the chaos.   As a child I remember feeling a great sense of freedom and wonder when I created art.   There was a peace and focus that seemed to elude me in the academic world.   Learning to read was difficult for me and math was a foreign language as far as I could tell.   Art was my saving grace.   Through it I discovered...more
