Born in Philadelphia, PA, and educated in the Public-School system. I received my first introduction to art at Beeber Junior High School. I entered an art contest and later applied and got accepted to the art magnet program at Overbrook High School in the early 1970s. I went through 4-years of intensive training that prepared me to enter college in pursuit of a career in advertising art. After two years of college, I returned home in 1978, and my focus changed to computers. I always remained passionate about art but never painted again until the late 1990s while finishing my bachelor’s degree. I needed an elective, so I took an art course and fell in love with art, again.
I began painting with oil and acrylic, which soon became the highlight of my day. It was a joy to spending most of my evenings and the earlier hours of the morning doing what I loved. I began painting and selling my artwork in the early 2000s. I have created several commissioned pieces, originals, and prints. I started a window treatment business where I designed and made custom window fashions.
I began photographing flowers, seascapes, and landscapes more than ten years ago. I enjoy creating digital l art with the photos from my library. Using photo editors, I overlay them with other images, filters, and colors. I hope that you will enjoy my works of art as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
