My Background: As a Connecticut artist I am influenced by New England and New York.   My youth along the foothills of the Berkshires amongst tobacco and family farms and my current life in the heavily populated Connecticut River Valley has brought about a reflection upon how we are formed through our history, culture and community.   My Inspiration: I like flowers for they bring color, joy and life.   They open up towards the sun and greet bees with gifts of nectar.   They are gifts of love.   Yet there is more to a flower than just being a pretty little...more
