Hello, my name is Mark Benton.   I graduated from Kent State University with a BA in Fine and Professional Arts back in 1996.   Since then I have created a handful of concepts for painting series, one manipulating children's art, another is simply creating portraiture of some of my favorite actors and scenes in my favorite films.   Another encompasses my love for rust and its elusive aesthetic.   My current series involves the overlay of 2D patterns atop 3D realism while satisfying my love for animals and speaking for their integral role in our natural world.   These...more
