I grew up in Nottingham and have since lived in Oxford and Cambridge, returning to Nottingham in the late 1990’s, and now live near Worksop, north Nottinghamshire.   My interest in photography began in my early childhood in frustration of my family’s ‘snaps’ which always had the top of people’s heads or feet missing!   This soon led to me becoming the official family photographer with my father presenting me with my first SLR on my 18th birthday.   Several years later, disappointments with film cameras, together with my impatience waiting to see the results, led to me shelving my hobby...more
