Thanks for visiting.   I am a self taught photographer concentrating on landscapes and nature in both color and black and white.   I try to capture natural processes in nature that evoke both feeling and moments of truth.   A large amount of time is spent scouting for possible shots and it is not uncommon to go out in the field and end up not taking any shots at all.   If a subject looks good I will go back several times to the same site in the quest for the right moment when the light is just right.   I also believe in gaining a sense of place through...more
