I have used photography as a creative outlet since 1970.   Employed as a scientist and professor, I have found immersing myself in photography to be a great way to relieve stress and get in touch with myself.   I started with a well-used twin lens reflex (Zeiss Ikon) when I was about 15 and over the years took up large format press and view cameras, medium format SLRs, 35 mm SLRs, and eventually digital photography.   I enjoy travelling and hiking to find interesting places.   I think my photographic process is best described as trying to depict how it feels to me to be in a certain...more
