I am the daughter of an artist (M.Diane Bonaparte). I really enjoy taking pictures. In my real life, I'm the Wife of the love of my life, the proud Mother of two grown men, and a Nurse who has reached that point in her career where she's the one riding the desk and making the rules.
While I love art, I do not consider myself an artist...I just love to take pictures of pretty flowers, gorgeous sunsets, and interesting objects as well as the critters that are such a part of my life. The flowers are my favorites...no need to improve on perfection. OK, sometimes that's a lie...I've discovered that I can play with color, contrast and exposure - but I'm a beginner at digital manipulation....but sometimes it works!
Art, and beauty, are in the eyes of the beholder.
My images are exactly how I see them, with very little enhancement or alteration - usually. I try to capture those things that I find interesting, awe-inspiring, quirky, gorgeous, strange, silly and lovely.
My photos and the subjects are personal to me, so I'm sharing a part of myself with you. I hope you enjoy.
