Welcome to my Fine Art America site. I am a self-taught photographer working in multiple genres including macro, landscape, and abstract photography. I seek to capture
beauty in this world with emphasis on shape, colour, and texture. I have been carrying a camera around since high school when I was using a Pentax K1000. Film cameras were set aside when the digital cameras reached 8 megapixels. I became serious about my photography upon retirement in 2008. Recently, I have used digital processing to enhance selected images to reflect the vision I saw when the photograph was taken. My photography is sold world wide to individuals and business organizations by Image Conscious, which is an art publishing house in
San Francisco, and through FineArtAmerica. I am currently selling photography cards at the Comox Air Force Museum, Comox's Pearl Ellis Art Gallery, and the Laughing Oyster Bookshop in Courtenay, B.C.
I have also published three books of my photographs. The photograph of Trinity, Newfoundland is on the cover of the Spring 2018 issue of Catholic Missions in Canada magazine. Finally, my Newfoundland photography is featured in the June 2018 issue of Downhome magazine's Sure Shot section.
