Description
This 1950 Ford Convertible would be a big hit in any late Fifties high school parking lot!
If dual exhausts look good why not have quad exhausts? Why stop there? Other enhancements include pennant flags and raccoon tails, back-up spot lights, auxiliary ’59 Cadillac taillights, pirate flags, Lake Pipes, mud flaps and 1953 Buick side trim. Alfred E. Neuman door monograms are a nice touch, as are the Overtaker and Undertaker passing signs, trunk lights, J.C. Whitney Skylark fins, curb feelers, Buick portholes, fender mirrors, dual radio aerials, Impala crossed flag medallions, and the large trunk Vee. Also the custom Plymouth bumpers and guards, bullet wheel covers, stainless taillight side trim with Pontiac stars, blue dots, Naugahyde dash, and dual whip antennas are quite stylish. The car club plaque, stainless headlight rings, big chrome V8 emblem, several accessory lights and little Vees help to fill the leftover spaces. And if you’re going to have hood louvers you might as well have louvers in the trunk lid and skirts. All topped off with a really swell custom-fabric top, venetian blinds and rear wiper. This was drawn by a 17-year old a few years back.
