This amazingly looking abstract photo is the detail of the colourful pond at the Yellowstone National park, Wyoming, USA, one of the many ponds in the geyser area.

In 2012 I had a great chance to visit the unique corner of the Earth- Yellowstone National park. It's geyser area is famous for live geysers and hot ponds. Some are still and very colorful like this one, some look quite dull but bubble with hidden magic and power.

Hot springs with names like Morning Glory, Grand Prismatic, Abyss, Emerald, and Sapphire, glisten like jewels in a host of colors across the park's harsh volcanic plain. They are the most common hydrothermal features in the park. (http://www.nps.gov/yell/naturescience/hotspring.htm)
