The sea, almost rhythmic then swiftly following another beat, only to be quieted by a stillness. Part of a series, in each of the paintings there is a different motion on the sea.

My process includes many layers of paint, the colors and shapes influence the decisions that eventually finish the painting. The summers humidity, living on the east coast, and spending time at the beach have all contributed to the pieces within this work.
