Winding Canyon Road Utah II
Artist
Joan Carroll
Medium
Photograph - Photography And Digital Art
Description
It’s hard to appreciate the scale of this canyon landscape without the cars along the hairpin tun-filled canyon road. Also if you zoom waaay in on the upper left side of the photo you can see a car on the road and some cars in a parking lot! The landscape just dwarfs you and makes you feel small. I inched as close to the cliff edge as I could but still couldn’t get the entire hairpin turn-filled canyon road seen between Dead Horse Point State Park and Moab Utah into my camera frame. I didn’t get to drive on this road but did drive on one exactly like it between Natural Bridges National Monument and Monument Valley. It was easier and more fun than it looks.

I think it would be fun to drive on that skinny little winding road.... Nice capture that captures the vast size of this area.

OMG! Not my kind of road. Glad I know where not to go. No guardrails! But gosh, it is beautiful
