The wet on wet technique with this piece was by pouring paint and creating a background color and design then pouring the portrait straight onto the wet background so the two layers meld into one. I use a tooth pick to refine lines. It was rather like trying to control jello on rough seas in a rubber raft but I love the end result, wild and free.
