"White Tailed Deer Reflected"
A white tailed deer stand at the edge of a forest pond. The still waters reflect the strong buck and the green trees around him creating a perfect mirror image.
Originally, I didn't even have the deer in the image. I just wanted to create this perfectly round pond in a forest. However, I felt it needed something to really make it pop, so I added the stag whose brown coat contrasts sharply with the green of the forest.
To create this image, I used 3D rendering techniques as well as digital painting skills.
