White Bengal Tiger Watercolor
Painting - Watercolor On Arches 140lb Paper. 11
Watercolor on Arches 140lb paper.
This watercolor painting was inspired by an amazing photograph taken by Fiona Kennard. Her photographs are displayed on FAA and she explains how she was able to get this amazing shot.
She allowed me to paint this photograph because we both have a heart to rescue animals. Here is the Mission Statement from the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado where this photograph was taken:
The three main points of our missionto rescue captive large carnivores who have been abused, abandoned, illegally kept or exploitedto create for them a wonderful life for as long as they liveand to educate about the causes and solutions to the Captive Wildlife Crisisthese things are what we commit to for the animals, and for the humans who help to make a positive difference for them.
Can you imagine this beautiful animal being neglected and abused? Not having the freedom to enjoy the outdoors and socialize with other Tigers. We are so grateful for all animal rescues and the heart wrenching work they do to save abused animals.
*A donation of 50% from the sales of this painting will go to the Rescue Organization "Blue Lion Rescue" in Yoder, CO. As artists, we hope our photographs and paintings will help make a difference in supporting rescue efforts.
