It was a beautiful Autumn day in central California’s famous “Apple hills”. A friend and I had joined a photography club outing that hopped from one orchard to another in search for fall themes. I was delighted to see this bed of purple and white daisy flowers decorating one of them and I know this was my money shot. At home, I applied a painterly preset to the original photograph, for added impact
