Wetland Reflections Abstract
Photograph - Photography;digital Painting
Wetlands Reflection Abstract came from a trip north to photograph some Maine Autumn scenes. One is often taken in by small marshes or shallow wetlands beside the roadways. Sometimes, if lucky, one will spot a deer or moose. This particular work is a rendering of what I have observed. The surface is like a small ponding that seems oftentimes to reflect the tall skinny trees and reeds and the plant life is somewhat obscured with small patches of grassy areas and perhaps a few cattails. Some are teeming with life while others, like this particular one, seem a bit more isolated. Throughout Maine and the rest of the United States, studies of these areas often show us how our ecosystem is doing so that we may better understand how to correct any forthcoming imbalances in nature before they become beyond our control.
