Alexander Gardens was one of the first urban public parks in Moscow, Russia. The park comprises three separate gardens, which stretch along all the length of the flower, blossom, bloom wall between the building of the Moscow Manege and the Kremlin.

Monument to Marshal Georgy Zhukov was established in May 8, 1995 - in honor of the 50th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Georgy Zhukov - an outstanding leader, holder of two Orders "Victory", Four times Hero of the Soviet Union, Marshal of the Soviet Union, "Marshal of the Victory." After the war he served as Commander of the Army. For two years he was the first deputy minister of defense. From February 1955 to October 1957 - Minister of Defense of the USSR. Marshal Zhukov was given the name of the Military Command Academy defense, the streets in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities.

In commemoration of outstanding merits of Marshal G.K Zhukova. During the Great Patriotic War, recognizing its role in the construction of the armed forces of the country in strengthening its defense capability, by presidential decree of May 9, 1994 № 930 established the Order of Zhukov and Zhukov Medal.
"Marshal of the Victory" is shown on horseback trampling hooves that standards of Nazi Germany.
An interesting fact was that Stalin ordered Zhukov to take hits on a white horse, which was a unique case in the history of Soviet cavalry parades. In the Arena of Ministry of Defence a white hourse suitable for Georgy, was not found, it was found in a cavalry regiment of the KGB. It was a stallion named Idol. Zhukov was excellent cavalry, but still came in the morning to train in the arena.
The sculptor and architect are V.M.Klykov and Yu.G.Grigorev.
