Beautiful. Sandi, you have a knack for capturing scenes and giving them life. The lighting here adds to the quiet, loneliness of this farm which seems to beg for new inhabitants. vf

Why did I miss this one ? Your editing is lovely....and if you didn't edit...the outcome is :))) the contrasts in the sky are just unique. It would be an idea to shoot this one from exactly the same standpoint in various seasons, since you pass this location frequently. Than you could make a quadriptiche...the four seasons...lol
Sandi Mikuse replied:
Hey that's a great idea, Michel! I just might try that! Thank you for stopping by my friend...your support is always very much appreciated!

This looks like a beautiful painting! The thumbnail really looks like an abstract...I love how the lines of the earth, hills and clouds of the sky create such a beautiful design leading the eye back into the clear sunny sky in the distance! And the worn house balances the whole thing! wow!....f/v

I love it Sandi!!! This is so beautiful and the lighting is exquisite - love those little wild flowers reflecting the light and leading the viewer into this awesome composition - there are so many of these old abandoned places out here in eastern Colorado also and I can only imagine the stories these walls could tell - this is really a nice setting with the mountains, forest and the ominous sky in the background.... beautiful work my friend...
