Way Too Many Wires
Artist
Skip Willits
Medium
Photograph - Epson Lustre Paper
Description
A photographer's nightmare unless the wires become the object of the image. A nor'easter storm struck Anglesea in North Wildwood, NJ and flooded the place as well. I took this from the foot of the lighthouse where we were showing for the NJ Lighthouse Challenge that year. A lousy weekend but we made the best of it. Amazing Number of wires which is true Americana.

Skip, I live in a town where wires are an unavoidable fact of life (and of photographs) and, as you rightly say, it's best to make them the object of the image or find some artistic way of incorporating them into the image. This picture splendidly capture the off-season of a popular (in the summer!) Jersey-shore seaside town.
