Original watercolor painting, 'Snow-covered Seed Pods', by Cascade Colors/ Lynn Cyrus. I came across a beautiful set of flower remnants in mid November in a natural area/ park in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, after the first snowfall of the season. In the soft lighting, the snow stood out crisply against the bright sunlit sky in the background. I chose plum, purple, pink, and blue tones for the snow covered pods. Nature art. The original painting of this piece is for sale, as are prints and canvases of all sizes. This is an elegant piece, semi abstract and more minimalist in style, perfect for home decor.
