Original watercolor painting, 'Forest in Transition', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. In creating this piece, I was really wanting to be more loose and interpretive, giving an impression of a forest transitioning from autumn to winter, with splashes of color, hints of ice forming in the stream, and high levels of contrast in the tree trunks and branches against the background.
