Title
Warming By The Geyser
Artist
Pamela Peters
Medium
Photograph - Nature Photography
Description
Black Sand Basin sits a few miles down the road from Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, USA. There are a couple of small geysers and a few thermal pools. While walking through the pools and geysers it began to snow. This bluebird landed on a dead tree just above one of the small geysers. The fog created by the geyser and the snow cleared just for a moment framing the bluebird in the center. As quickly as the fog cleared it filled the air again masking the bird from sight.

Great timing for this capture! The fog and snow really make the bluebird stand out!

The framing from the mist draws the eye towards the colorful blue of the bird. I almost see an eye staring back at me. Great shot!
