Inspired by a photo from a friends trip to Israel this painting came about. It is a representation fo the Sea of Galilee. The painting is bright colorful with reflections in purple pink and gold of the buildings built upon the ledge reflecting into the water. There is a lone bird in the colorful sunset sky adding perspective and contrast. The viewer is looking back on Jerusalem from some where on the water. The sunset or sunrise brings lift and joy to this abstract landscape painting.
Donoghue scans her work in high definition, so that the print purchaser has many choices in sizes and materials for their specific designer needs. This particular piece looses very little texture or detain in its print reproductions as the surface of the original is smooth.
