Description
While in a restaurant I saw a noisy group of adults standing by the till ... then I glanced over and saw this young girl sitting patiently beside them, waiting for them to finish their conversation and signal to her it was time to leave. It reminded me of all the times I waited while the adults gathered and visited. In my era, children were to be seen and not heard. I wondered what she was thinking.
This photo is also a tribute to one of my most favorite street portrait photographers, Michel Verhoef! He does this kind of photography like no other! Here's to you, Michel! :)

Well that didn't go as I planned. Now I feeling like she does. Where's my way out of here! Now back to where Sandi. My favorites works of art of Michel Verhoef are ( To Be Or Not To Be ) and ( Drifting ). Sandi I can picture you as this little girl under the same circumstance and at the same age. Ok I'm stopping right here before I push the wrong bottom again!
Sandi Mikuse replied:
LOL! I wonder how many times that has happened to me (pushed the wrong button) and I didn't even know it! Don't worry Ken...it happens!!!! And yes, as a little girl I certainly DID spend alot of time waiting for the grownups! Yes, I really like those pieces of Michel's too!!!
