Thank you, Sora! (In Romanian, sora means "sister") The "meaningful absurdity of life", I like that, excellent!

Beckett would certainly love this painting, and so do I! I thought I have already commented on it, but now I see I haven't (what a shame!!!). Ion, you have remarkably rendered the meaningful absurdity of life: sometimes joyful, other times melancholic or sad... but always full of revelations.

LOVE this surrealist take on "Waiting for Godot"! I read it in university....and yes, we ARE all waiting....for something...seems we are never happy in the present moment! Excellent art, Ion! Another favorite! L/F

Samuel Beckett wrote a play called "Waiting for Godot". I did this surrealist painting in his honor and called it Wating for Godette... Everybody is waiting for somebody... and very strange things happen... A friend pointed me out my error: it was Beckett's play not Eugene ionescu's... Grateful for the pointing out. Even grateful if he would have bought a print...But then, one cannot have everything...
