Visiting the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park Colorado. A favorite place to stay when traveling to the Rocky Mountain National Park. While this was where Stephen King's The Shining was filmed, and it is notorious for it's ghosts hauntings, to me it's a quite restful place for weddings, anniversaries, and mountain enjoyment.

Donlyn, this is gorgeous!! I truly love the salty textures in the large mountain behind the building....the mountain face appears to be melting! Your paintings are so much fun. Like!

Thank you Anne - I love the different techniques for gesturing and it has truly expanded the success of my work. I love the dome on this painting - I used a paint that contains real gold. I figure since my family came here for gold, it was only appropriate to drop a little in the rock outcropping too. So much fun!
