Description
As we continued our drive around Schoodic Peninsula, we were pleased to find a lobster boat between us and Little Moose Island. Little Moose Island is a wonderful place to explore at low tide. Clearly, we couldn't get there from here...(a little Maine humor), as the tide was high! The waves were crashing something fierce and I was concerned for the lobster boat crew with all the turbulent seas before us. They were bring stalked by a lot of sea gulls and other sea birds looking for a tasty treat! I must make sure to visit Moose Island next year when the tide is low...hopefully I will remember to make it back before the tide comes back in!! It would be a rough night of sleeping out on that island.
