Nothing is more relaxing than sitting at a seaside café watching the world go by! This colorful umbrella with its backdrop of old peeling buildings is in the seaside piazza of Vernazza in the Cinque Terre region of Italy. Cinque Terre is a string of five centuries-old seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline in the Liguria region of Italy. In each of the five towns of the region, colorful houses and ancient vineyards cling to steep terraces and fishing boats bob in harbors. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
