Description
A male white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus), with it's antlers still covered in a gorgeous velvet coat, pauses to look directly at the intruding photographer. It's alert yet peaceful beauty in the soft morning light left me (the photographer) breathless. Moments such as these leave one with an immense aprpeciation for nature and all God's creatures.
