The concept of a sparkling pale blue-eyed redhead woman with an amaranth locket was especially created for a french ' vampire story" book cover. Here was part of the brief focus on the pendant of the heroine's necklace, symbol of her immortality. An amaranth pendant. Amaranth is a symbol of immortality, it is known to never wither. A glassblower enclosed an amaranth flower in a perfect crystal teardrop. The chain can only be in gold, it's a vampire ;-)
And why not, blurred, the ice blue eyes of the heroine and the top of her red hair in voluminous curls. It has not been selected by the contest holder. See the one with text.
