The USS Memorial Gardens at Salt River is located on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community near Scottsdale, Arizona. It is a five-acre development that features a piece of the original boathouse of the USS Arizona that sank at Pearl Harbor in 1941. The columns form the outline of the ship. Each one represents someone who served, with the gaps indicating a survivor of the attack.
