Ulica Piwna Warsaw Old Town Vintage
Photograph - Photography And Digital Art
Moving away from the hustle and bustle of Castle Square, take a walk along one of Warsaw's very oldest and well known streets, Ulica Piwna. Translating literally as 'beer street', it is no surprise to discover an abundance of intimiate little bistros and bars to sit either outside or inside of and enjoy a delicious local Polish brew. Complete with unique wrought iron door signs hanging above heavy wooden doors and colorful pastel facades, this lovely little thoroughfare in the very heart of the historic old town is enchanting. So much so that when strolling along it, in the late afternoon dusk of winter, when fairy lights twinkle and a warm glow emanates from darling little square windows, you really do feel like you have stepped back in time and landed on the pages of a storybook. I hand blended textures with my original vintage style photograph to achieve a more painterly look which I felt suited this classic old world Polish street scene.
