This is why I love photography. It captures the beauty of the world we see, if we take the time to enjoy nature and this amazing world. These are crepuscular rays shining down on Uig, Scotland. Uig is a tiny town on the western banks of Skye. You can see the ferry coming in from Harris, which is an island in the Hebrides. The sun is casting a beautiful glow on the ocean while the clouds are filtering the sun's rays creating the crepuscular. These crepuscular rays seem to be a daily occurrence on Skye because I saw this sight so many times on different parts of the island. I was up high on a road looking down on Uig as we made our way across the vast Scottish landscape. Someday I will stop here and take that ferry to Harris!! What a magnificent place to visit and I am sure it is a wonderful place to live too!
