Title
Two White-tailed Deer Bucks Locking Antlers During A Sparring Match
Artist
Diana Van Tankeren
Medium
Digital Art - Photography / Digital Art
Description
White-tailed deer, also known as the whitetail or Virginia deer, are the smallest members of the North American deer family.
Male deer (bucks) are easily recognizable in the summer and fall because of their prominent set of antlers, which fall off in the winter and regrow every year. During the mating season, also called the rut, bucks fight over territory by using their antlers in sparring matches.
Artworks features two white-tailed deer bucks locking antlers during a sparring match against a painterly background with beautiful warm, reddish brown colors.
