Made in 2018 after I moved to Newport Beach CA. Moving from Northern California to Southern California was a culture shock. It was necessary for my heath, both mentally and physically. I started getting interested in old photography and drawing people who were tecnically no longer alive. Therefore I could make up a story about them in my head and try to have fun. Along the way I stumbled upon a time period in beginning of the photographic arts is Europe where healthy living was of the upmost concern and importance. This appealed to me and I adored that I discovered it my chance. I studied may photographers as well as cultural materials of that time period and made up my own artworks based on the idea of healthy living people. This was a drastic departure from drawing people I knew. Different entirely but still fun. The idea of getting and being healthy really stuck with me.
