Description
We visit Mount Desert Island and specifically, Acadia National Park each year. We notice changes and new sights. This year, I noticed a few of these pink speckled flowers. They do not grown in abundance and I saw them in many different locations all over the island in rocky nooks and crannies. I have never seen them before this summer, so I wonder how they got here and what is their origin? The flowers themselves are no bigger than the eraser at the end of a pencil, but their color is bright and attractive.
