Description
There's no doubt that the nighttime view up through Double Arch can be downright magical. In this case, I applied a little post-processing creativity to make a fun work of art with a vortex of trailing stars. The result features night photography student Tina Grimm captured during a workshop in Arches National Park.
How I Got The Shot
This work of art required two images - one from inside double arch and another from outside with a clear view of the night sky. Both were captured with natural lighting and no light painting added. Then in post-processing, I created the star trail vortex from the image with just stars using Photoshop automation before blending the results with the image from inside Double Arch.
