Bluebirds are medium-sized, mostly insectivorous or omnivorous birds found in North America. They belong to the Passerines order and the genus Sialia of the thrush family (Turdidae). Bluebirds lay 4-6 eggs per clutch, usually brooding 2-3 times a year from March to August. They have predominantly blue plumage, with males being more colorful than females.
